B would probably be so liberating.

I think she'll probably choose B. that way nobody would ever ask her to make another KZK and\or judge all her new work in comparison to it

Why? That would be a hellish thought (artistically.) John Lennon often deconstructed his work with The Beatles, showed how mortal they really were. But I highly doubt he would have ever wanted them destroyed so he could make more mostly bad new music.

Now, of course an artist would likely always desire to create more, but I'm honestly not sold that's how she operates anymore.

I'm so glad someone was wondering the same thing about Ringo. Everything she seems to do nowadays is an intentional side-step from what she once made - in essence, her past work is something she continually distances her new work from, and boxes herself in. What she does is still amazing, but she puts so many limits on herself (as evidenced by her album symmetries). I've often wondered this about my own work too.

How come this forum can never move on from the same old discussion? Almost everytime a thread is interesting this happens. Eh.

Old vs New. With a slightly different twist.

The thing is deadgrandma, this kind of thing usually happens with fans of a musician who changes sound at some point in their career. There's that, and the fact that Ringo HERSELF seems preoccupied/obsessed with 'old vs new' (young vs old; past vs present and future, etc.), in her lyrics and music in general. So it's not really that strange.

Its because there's no other topic interesting enough to talk about. For context, keep in mind, wasn't there a new song just last week?
