Animal Collective: My Girls.
Why is it now so internet cool to pick on on MPP? This album isn't even THAT pretentious. |

Yeah, Animal Collective really aren't. They're fantastic, actually. Most of the haters probably just hate them because Pitchfork like them.

Wish I could go to Sakura-con to see them! I just found out about them and already fell in love! EDIT: I feel like I've posted this already, but it's not in my post history...so I apologize if this is a repeat. (I doubt anyone would realize it if it was though, due to the vast amount of vids/songs posted!)

Animal Collective deserve the hype (which is internet-based for me as I don't know ppl IRL who listen to them afaik). But their voices put me off somehow, so I can't push them from "interesting" into "like"! I'd prefer anything from them with guest vocals or an instrumental, like this.
CLT something quietly lovely:

I've loved this song for nearly 4 years straight, but I still haven't gotten any Indochine albums. And they've been around for like, 30 years so I just keep getting more and more behind on any of their releases. But this song is gorgeoussss. Nothing can beat it, really. |
