Aw shit, keep away from spoiler sites like DarkUFO. Usually I don't mind reading the hints and watching the promos he puts up and if he puts up huge chunks and synopsis of episodes he usually puts it behind a "Are you sure!?" button and I don't look but there is a huge spoiler just sitting on the front page of the spoiler section right now and I really wish I didn't read it It seems this season is going to be full of shocking moments (this was from episode 13) and even a simple sentence can spoil a huge moment and I really want to experience them for myself and not find out beforehand.

wow, they had a ep 13! spoiler?
I sure as hell don't want to read it, although it's tempting btw, any idea when the podcast will start again?

As for the official podcasts, they have a video podcast and audio podcast out after the premier but they're very short, not the usual full length audio. Here's something interesting, ABC have switched around the airing of episode 6, "The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham" and episode 7, "316" which has never happened before. They must be pretty self contained episodes to be interchangeable with no lack of continuity... I wonder what their reasoning is.

Yeah, there's a very short Damon & Carlton audio podcast out in which they ask each other questions about the premiere episodes (they discuss the whole "is the island moving or are the people moving" thing if you guys are interested). Ahhh so excited about this week's episode!!
BTW I would just like to register my extreme displeasure at people trying to take advantage of those downloading LOST premiere episode torrents. =________= The torrent for ep. 1 I downloaded (the most popular and, at midnight Wed night, the only 5-01 torrent) turned out to be a zip file which could only be unlocked by going to a website, inputting your info and then receiving the password. Of course it's just some spammer wanting your info so they can sell it and spam it. The torrent for ep. 2, when I tried to open the video file it was just a short video telling me to go to some site to download a special tool I would need to play the video. I said FUCK THIS SHIT!!!! In the end I watched the episodes on ABC's full episode player and did not regret it. (I can't watch it live as I am at work when it airs.) But I'm sure there were thousands of people who downloaded the torrents and, after spending so much time downloading the file, were either too lazy or too stupid to know better and went ahead and went to those websites and got the password or the codec necessary, and fell right into the spammers' traps. Ugh, it's disgusting. No more LOST torrents for me as I am tired of people trying to take advantage of people downloading them like this. |

Believe it or not, I actually did that late last year when I wanted to download the Office. It had just ended on tv and I hadn't seen it, and I was very desperate to do so. So I downloaded the episode (it was the only one up at that point), read the thing that said that I needed to download a special codec, and didn't give it a second thought. As the thing was installing, I was like "dag, I hate myself.." and chuckled for a bit as I realized how much of an idiot I am. A few seconds later, the porn showed up and I eventually had to wipe out my computer. I'm usually careful with those things, but for some reason I didn't even think about it that time. :|

There was a huge delay in the scene groups putting the first episode up for some reason. It's usually up about 2:30am my time and it wasn't up at even 7:30am. I had to wait til I woke up at 10am to find the legit copy. Idiots must have taken advantage of that and put up a bunch of fakes, which would naturally be very popular without the real episode up. Pretty much always trust EZTV. They get it up as fast as possibly and it's always legit.

The best money I ever spent was on my DVR. I never get to watch anything on it's regularly scheduled time. I usually can't even tell you what days the shows I watch are on. (Of course, this only works if the show is shown in your country...)

I was pretty disappointed with this episode. I admit that I was expecting a lot from it, but it really didn't seem like anything happened at all. There was that one interesting twist with Widmore, but nothing else grabbed my attention.
