Best episode of the season so far! It had pretty much every aspect of Lost I love and the next two episodes look to be epic. Seriously this season keeps getting better and better.

exactly my thoughts. This episode had all the reasons I watch lost.
In the end scene with Christian I first thought, "damn now they're gonna show some shadow and next episode we 'maybe' see the person", but DAMN, a whole scene with Christian explaning Locke that HE was meant to turn the wheel.
This again showed me how much faster the show is now in the last two seasons. Epic Show.

And Ben's outburst in the car was very cool.

And since they switched the next two episodes around I'm going to guess that episode 7 (previously episode 6) is a self contained Locke episode so it doesn't mess with the timeline and episode 6 (previously 7) almost primarily focuses on the oceanic 6 and their attempted return to the island.

This last episode also made me remember (not that I forgot) how much I absolutely love Locke. Even if he don't like him or his actions, you cannot deny that he is a fantastic character (like Ben). And screw people who thought he was selfish, acting out of line to figure out his own destiny. His self sacrifice in the last act of the fifth episode shows how Locke is willing to put everything on the line for what he believes in (the island) and not for himself. Jack was always the self absorbed one; acting like a hero for the wrong reasons. I really hope this isn't the end of Locke as we know him. If (or should I say when) he resurrects I hope he is the same John Locke and not some whimsical, wise cameo like Jack's dad.

That's a season 4 promo shot. The season 5 ones all contain vines and stuff and they have Charlotte, Miles and Faraday on them. This is a season 5 promo:

I have a new theory about lost, that goes like this: From now on, it is impossible for any further episode to be less than fucking epic.

Only 3 people wanted to go to that plane, and what happened? EVERYBODY went, damn yeah! And mimicking the old flight was a brilliant idea, now Locke's death even has a reason.
The scene where Jacks comes into the plane was epic.

There was just one thing I couldn't stand: Lapides (or however his name is spelled) WITHOUT HIS BEARD!

Ok, so what can we expect? I hope Locke will rise in the same way Jacks Father did, so he can join the club of the cool undead allknowing cabinresidents.
Another thing that might happen:
Desmond. After he walked out of the church he went straight to his boat and went off with penny in a random direction. He started sailing to India. So by the time the losties were on the route by plane, he also sailed through the same coordinates and was transported to the island. My guess is without penny.

Concerning Jin in Dharmatime. In my other board somebody had the theory that the last thing we've seen on the island last episode is actually 3 years prior to the scene with Jin. In the Jin & company timeline of course, including the flashes. So after Lockes stopped the wheel, they were stuck in Dharmatime, lived there for three years, and then Jind finds Jack, Kate and Hurley.
Sounds good to me.

What happened to Aaron, and did Charlie tell Hurley to get on that plane? So, some answers I have no clue about.

Oh, and if you ever want to say "Holy. Fucking. Shit" again, you have to watch the trailer for the next episode:

EDIT: On my Theory of Desmond sailing away, maybe he was visited by Desmond who tried to convince him of coming along. Ben then saw Penny there and tried to kill her, but Desmond was able to prevent that and make Ben look like that. Then out of fear he ran off with Penny to India.

Yeah I definitely think Ben went to kill Penny. He told Jack he had to "Tie up some loose ends with an old friend" then we see him at a port (Desmond's boat...) beaten up. I assume Desmond got the better of him, but I would have thought Desmond would have killed him if he attempted to kill Penny so it'll be interesting to see what happened.

I love that they're back on the island but there's still quite a mystery about how they got back together. In 24 hours Ben got beaten up, Kate chose to leave Aaron and go back, Sun decided to leave Ji-Yeon and go back, Hurley got out of Jail and decided to go back (and knew which flight to get) and Sayid got arrested and put on a flight to Guam. Why? I am guessing we're going to have some flashbacks to events off the island, or maybe a new future episode dedicated to how it exactly happened. Interesting that Hurley had a guitar case. Makes me think that he saw Charlie again and Charlie told him what to do. I also think the middle eastern guy at the airport that offered Jack his condolences will have flashed to the island.

I don't think the plane crashed, I think that everybody who has been on the island before who the island "isn't finished with" simply flashed off the plane. Also Lockes note to Jack, "I wish you believed in me. JL." was heartbreaking. His death scene may actually make me cry

I think so too. According to Lostpedia he was even credited with a name, Caesar, which would be odd for just another person on the plane. I think Sayid's law enforcement escort (who also was credited with a name, Ilana, and also sits in first class just like Caesar and the rest who we know) will also flash to the island. I believe that's her in the trailer for the next episode talking with Locke on what looks like the island. The question is how are these two people related to the island? They must have some prior connections, or maybe be associated with Ben, Hawking, or even Widmore somehow.
