Anyone else stoked for MvC3? I can't stop watching the trailers. This game must come out NOW.

I would be because MvC3 looks like a lot of fun, but I don't really care for the roster. It pretty much sucks. No Gambit? Cyclops? They put X-23 in? Why when there are several better female X characters who aren't clones and would be more fun to play as (and I say this as an X-23 fan)? Jubilee, Jean Grey, Wind Dancer, Dani Moonstar, Nico Minoru, Dazzler, Mercury, and Pixie all would have been better choices.
If I were to purchase it, my characters would be Super Skrull, Thor, and I don't know who the third would be. It would be Mike Haggar if they'd announce him already.

I'm holding out for Rogue myself but it's looking unlikely because she hasn't really been as popular as she used to be. Plus she doesn't even have Ms. Marvel's powers anymore. Yeah, X-23 was a bit of a head scratcher for me too but I'd definitely take her over Daken. Luckily she looks like she plays a lot differently from Wolverine.
Mike Haggar is as good as confirmed. I've heard from a lot of places that he'll finally be playable. Can I get a hell yeah?

^ Rogue is still one of the most popular X-characters. She stars in her own book (X-Men Legacy). I personally don't like her mainly because I hate her "relationship" with Gambit. It's completely ruined his character (see Messiah Complex). Thankfully, Marjorie Liu seems up to rehabbing Gambit by having him mentor X-23.
Daken would have been terrible. You're right that X-23 looks like she plays differently than Wolverine, but I stand by what I said last post. So many more Marvel females that would be more fun than her. Plus you just reminded me of more (Ms. Marvel/Moonstone). I'll still play as X-23 before I play as Wolverine.

I'm trying to avoid as many character spoilers for MvC as possible, but have utterly failed so far (thanks GT.com ....)... I think I know every single part of the roster, that has been announced so far without even wanting to

Vanquish finally turned up today got a nice lenticular cover version! haven't seen a lenticular cover since way back with Soul Reaver on the PS1.
Won't be playing until next week though due to Fallout. |

I'm 15 hours into Deadly Premonition now. It's almost my game of the gen, it's THAT good. There has never been anything even CLOSE to this it's like an RPG-Myster-Horror-Thriller-Survival-Shooter. All that with cut scenes that are even better than the one from Xenosaga and in a Twin Peaks similar setting.
No matter how many faults this game has, the sheer awesomeness of it's good points overshadow them all. There is only one reason why this game was so far entitled as "hilarious" and "so bad it's good" and that because they didn't have the money for more half a dozen tracks. Using only so few for all those different cut scenes CAN'T work. That why it's cheesy sometimes. That's the power of music. But if you can overlook that, the cutscenes itself are better written than anything I've ever seen in a videogame. The thing I love about this game the most is the whole pacing. It's so slow, but there is still so much happening, you can really get into this world, not even story driven RPGs have done the job as good as this yet. 15 hours in, and so far it's nothing short of a masterpiece. I read that the ending of the game is amazing, which makes me really happy right now. Seeing that a game like that come out as a budget title makes me a bit sad though...

Black Ops is out in a few hours! it's probably not gonna be up to much but I do like the atmosphere of a midnight launch and it's going for just £24.99 so why not!
