I think this is a mistranslation of the original Japanese source (Oricon), which refers to the official apology issued by Kuronekodo on Saturday 12th. There has been no comment from Hata himself or any other TJ member.

Urgggh after all the bad stuff I had to say, I cannot stand that I like this version of the song, especially since it's being used in such a bubble-gum pop (haha) context. It's not enough for me to forgive the other version of it though. I don't think I'll buy a release again unless they miraculously went independent but I'll probably download it.

The version playing in Kissmint CM is called "sora ga natteiru ~shinkaiban~" (deep sea ver.) and the one which will played at Maquillage cm is called "onna no ko wa daredemo ~sugaoban~" (no make-up ver.), according to Kronekodow

YES! I noticed that when I watched it. LOVED it.

The Onna video was so over-the-top, I was cringing. I like the showtunes/Disney stuff too, but this was just wayyyyy too much. It was entertaining to watch though. I prefer Sora and that crazy but kinda cool video (which has made me crave runny eggs and bacon).

The "virgin" slogan makes me wonder if Onna no... was included in the single because that's the type of song the Shiseido people asked for? They must have asked for something girly and "fresh" and it would explain what this solo SR song is doing on a TJ single.
