I should start exploring Radiohead, I remember listening to ok computer when I was 15 and not actually connecting with it, maybe it will this time around...
I did the same thing. Downloaded it after hearing all the hype. Listened to it a good few times, but it just didn't sit well. I find with most Radiohead albums, one day they just hit you. You have that one special listen where it's like "Holy shit". I think 'In Rainbows' would be a good place to start actually. It blends a lot of their past work together and while not as good as their best, it's a great introduction.

Jigsaw falling into place anyone?
I find it... very danceable. Which is why I like it the most.

It wasn't one of my favourites until it came onto MTV2 one day and I randomly liked it more and more. Now it's one of my faves.

You know, I would put some Asobi Seksu songs from Citrus on my list, but Citrus came out in 2006.

Asobi Seksu - Stay Awake
St. Vincent - Your Lips Are Red
Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Kiss Kiss
The Rosebuds - Get Up Get Out
PJ Harvey - When Under Ether
Missy Higgins - Peachy
Sophie Ellis Bextor - Catch You
The Smashing Pumpkins - That's the Way (My Love Is)
Mikio Hirama - AM 1:00

I need a life.

Alicia Keys - No One
Angela Aki - Sakurairo / On & On
Feist - My Moon My Man / Sealion / 1234
Foo Fighters - The Pretender
Jill Scott - Daydreamin'
Joss Stone with Lauryn Hill - Music
K.T. Tunstall - Hold On
Kanye West - Stronger
Kate Nash - Foundations / Mouthwash / Birds / We Get On / Mariella
Mika - Grace Kelly
Miranda Lambert - Dry Town
Namie Amuro - Hide & Seek
Norah Jones - Sinkin' Soon
Paul McCartney - Dance Tonight
Radiohead - 15 Step / Nude / Jigsaw... / Bangers + Mash
Rihanna - Umbrella
Rilo Kiley - Silver Lining / Breakin' Up / Under the Blacklight
Shiina Ringo - Hatsukoi Shoujo / Oiran
Tokyo Jihen - OSCA / Killer Tune
Utada Hikaru - Beautiful World / Kiss & Cry

I tried not to include too many songs found on the albums I listed in that "best albums of 2007" thread, but I'm forgetful (which really means I'm lazy).

Stay awake is a beautiful song, and the cover art for the single is so beautiful.

Wow Cosmo, your musical taste is all over the map. GJ pointing out Hatsukoi Shoujo though, I forgot that was released this year.

I never understood the facination with Umbrella, I though the chorus was just not very interesting.
