Honnou is a brilliant video, all the more so because Ringo never even approached anything like it ever again.

There is sooooooooooo much porn about nurses. Even lesbian nurses. There's a whole series of films called Lesbian Hospital. Nothing to do with Ringo, just one of the many many costume fetishes in porn, not just Japanese but all porn. It predates Honnou and no doubt played into the Honnou mystique, but it will always be a commentary on nurse porn and costume fetish (among other things), not in itself a piece of porn or fetish video.

The Honnou PV always rubbed me the wrong way. I know she meant it to be about a woman's right to sexual fantasies but the video seems constructed around male fantasy to me. Nothing about it says "woman's fantasy" and dressing up good old fashioned objectification as ~female empowerment~ is old, lame and insulting. Kind of like what Hollywood likes to do.

I'm just glad I watched the PV after I figured out how awesome Shiina Ringo really is.

Weirdly enough, I once ran into an entirely separate image which was definitely Ringo, but definitely shopped, of her slouching in a chair in Honnou gear, the dodgy bit being that someone elses breasts MUST have been grafted onto the photo. The outfit was slightly incorrect too, but the face? Yeah, I think it was Ringo. But it was low-res (thank goodness).
