Ayumi Hamasaki's A Classical album is surprisingly well put together. If only this amount of attention to the arrangements was used on Tori Amos' Gold Dust.... then again, that takes effort.
Anyway, Hamasaki fans, I recommend checking this release out.

One thing I like about Korean girl groups is that they have longer legs than Japanese girl groups. f(x) totally copied SNSD and they're awesome! |

OH MY GOD. How could I miss this album in 2012. Drone is one thing. BUT ORCHESTRATED DRONE is a whole new creature, I had glimpses of what it could be on Sunn O)))s Monoliths and Dimensions, and now it comes full circle on KTL's V. (I'm still ultimately pretty much a noob to the genre as you can tell :-p- but so glad it's "clicked" with me)

I thought V was a very demanding album. I flirted with it alot, and while I wouldn't say it didn't click with me, I didn't have the time to really immerse into it.

I hear V is the easiest to get into KTL release. Listening through the previous/earlier stuff, I'd probably say that's true. (Though, IV sounds even better IMO!). Either way, it's certainly more approachable than Sunn O)))'s work pre Black One.

^How is that better than say John Carpenter's Halloween theme or Ennio Morricone's The Thing theme? It sounds like background music for studious goth kids. ;p

As much as I think Carpenter's Halloween theme is the best theme song ever (yes, I like it even more than Star Wars or 007), why you would bring up such music to compare with drone music?
