i think it's a homage, singers do it all the time, The dresden dolls did a really nice homage to David Lee Roth's California Girls with their Shores of california and most of their fans don't even know and find it a very good and interesting video, also the song is quite different...
I like Osca's PV just as i like Gibusu, honnou, Yami ni furu ame, etc, people just pay too much attention on those details, but just because they expect an artist to make always innovating stuff it doesn't make them bad artists.
30 seconds to mars did a great The shining homage with their The kill video and they're still a kickass band...
And by the way, i deeply like Osca's pv and song...

At 3:58/3:59 in OSCA, when the scream occurs that Uki does in the video or whatever, it seems it's a similar pitch to the scream heard in Crazy Beat around 2:00.
