Jun Togawa- Because the Night


This is still my favourite cover ever. Total deconstruction and grinding delivery. Sure, not everyone is gonna 'get' it- some may find it downright un-listenable, but for me, it absorbs my attention entirely, and I find it overwhelming.

Such an iconic, classic song made 100% into a Togawa piece that is just as brilliant as the original, if not more-so. That's how you do a cover.

^ heh, good luck finding that EP. Pretty sure its a CD-R. I like this band, but not enough to follow them too closely/buy overly expensive releases.

As for the girl, I don't know who she is.

As for my CLT: Well this just hit (in the form of preorder bonus mp3s)
Vampillia with Jun Togawa- Lilac


While her voice has undeniably aged, it still sounds FUCKING AMAZING to me. Was trying to hold back tears first time I played it. Now it's on repeat. The rest of the album is great too but this song will take me a while to get over.

Might be my track of the year... we will see!
