She means she understands that there's quality in the songwriting of songs, but they don't appeal to her in some way or another. Meanwhile, she also recognizes that Variety is pure shit and possibly the worst album of 2007.

Gips is under that 'good' but 'boring' category for me, but I'm slooooooooooowly starting to warm to it.
I think Ishiki has a bigger impact on me if I listen to it with Torikoshi Kurou and Okonomide. I don't think there's one solo song that I detest, though. All of them have some kind of energy to them. VARIETY feels soulless. |

Everything else about the song is an empty shell sound-wise? I can't speak for Lena, but I'm not a fan of tracks 6-9 on the album. Pretty boring.
