This compilation to be released end of the month has a great setlist and contains all recent singles. And the old singles will be re-arranged in dubstep style (dg's favourite) similar to that of Kyary Pamyu x 2.

So...the 7 track Emiri Ota mini album has been out for a month. I listened to it for the first time tonight, and enjoyable it all the way through. Not as ballsy as Midori albums, but it's damn good.

I listened to about half and then instantly reached for Midori to cleanse my ears of the poser juice.

Anyway, Wakusei Abnornal's second mini album can be confirmed as being full on Jpop according to intial reports and reviews/Amazon's official writeup. So they are now Wakusei Normal????

Eh oh well, Maron Hamada's single is sounding pretty nice and exactly what I wanted from her :-p

Listened to the new Morning Musume best-of, they basically let the new line-up sing the old classics and added random dubstep all over them. Glad I cancelled the order.

After hearing the 4 songs Arcade Fire played live over SNL and their NBC special from their upcoming album, along with Reflektor, I now am just DYING to get my hands on this thing! I have no problem with the new direction, I think Reflektor is going to be utterly spine tingling when it hits.

EVEN MORE Seiko Oomori on the way!!! This time a full album with the band "来来来チーム" (If anyone can help me on this bands Romaji I'd be grateful). I without hesitation ordered it, and from the short preview that is on youtube, I don't think it's going to disappoint.

来来来チーム is "Rai rai rai Team" (rai = word for next), but they write it as Lai Lai Lai Team. (Spectators cheer "rai rai rai" at soccer games)

The Seiko Oomori x Lai Lai Team collab was made available on soundcloud for the next two weeks. Very Midori-ish, but I dunno, Mariko has gone more and more away from that intial sound that made me fall in love with her recently (though I still enjoy Mariko's work), so I'm fine with it, and I adore Seiko's voice/instrumentation just as much. Not to mention this still has the whole indie approach Seiko's laid her foundations in, so it's sounding pretty damn epic. Lai Lai Team sound pretty good too.

Friend came across this 19 yr old "Hanae"- earlier stuff is pretty ok, almost staple anime opening stuff- but her last 2 singles and the upcoming one sound very Yakushimaru Etsuko. So I'm in (on a side note, she is an extremely beautiful young lady as well).
