A Tale of Two Sisters
Great korean movie, with a gripping plot. Anyone seen it? The remake is supposed to be out in 2008. Disscuss.

absolutely amazing movie. from acting to plot to cinematography to soundtrack, everything is top notch. especially love the main waltz.
as far as horror movies go, it isn't very violent. there are some intense scenes of suspense and psychological horror, but nothing like in Audition or Ichi the Killer. Ichi the Killer I found really boring and Audition is 1 hour 30 minute lead up to the ending, which is really quite shocking but I suppose only to those who went to see it without knowing what they were in for. Probably one of the most gruesome scenes ever put to film. |

It's one of my favourite movies ever. The last scene is sooo perfect.
And I don't think that I want a remake. It can only be worse, especially, if they change the main actor, she was brilliant.

Yes, brilliant movie. Though completely different to Ichi and Audition. The latter two aren't really scary or suspenseful, they're just quite horrifyingly gory/sadistic. Well, I suppose Audition is quite creepy. I love all of them. ToTS is by far the best though! I'm not really for a remake, but it can't be worse than the remake of My Sassy Girl they're making.

Beautiful to watch. Good performances, intriguing story. So of course it got sold to some Hollywood studio by a snake-oil pusher named Roy Lee.

The Ring Remake was percet, I like it more than the original. The Dark Water remake was a damn good movie, but not a horror flick, more a drama. I don't really want to watch remakes of shutter and Tale of two sisters though...

Like everyone else says, it's really not that scary. But you should watch it! It's good!
