It's so touching, she feels so powerless... I'm so sad about all this... it's a nightmare.

I'm back in Stockholm for the first time in three years. I didn't imagine something like this would happen. If not I'd just still be working as usual. I'll just rest now and see what happens over there.

I'm wishing all the best for Japan. I hope this will make the country stronger.

I am back in the States for a couple of weeks. I was scheduled to go back anyway on the 28th but so many voices from home were getting increasingly worried, so I bumped up the date.
I am still planning on going back April 5th if all goes well with the visa application. Why people living in Tokyo--one of the richest cities in the world--are stockpiling food, water, and gas, I don't know. |

Someone mentioned that Kyushu got hit.
I'm curious how, because Sendai is really far North of Kyushu, so I don't really understand how Kyushu was affected. Okinawa wasn't affected at all, they apparently got a little waves from the Tsunami. It looks like Hokkaido wasn't affected either. I'm assuming the west coast wasn't affected? It seems like Osaka is all right. My information may be wrong though. |

^^ That was me, about Kyushu and Okinawa. Sorry about that, I posted soon after the quake and those areas were under high alert; I had mistakenly assumed they had been already impacted. I quickly found out the truth but forgot to correct myself.

We are being murdered by our government. Earthquake and tsunami was natural disaster but NPP accident is man made disaster. Last edited by EmilScherbe : 2011.04.20 at 02:25 PM. |
