Aw, I love that cover. It's one of the best. There's so much energy in the song that I can never sit still while it's on. Of course, I'm probably more swayed by Nishikawa's guitars than SR's scratchy vocals.

Someone who agrees with me. Been saying it for years. I feel redeemed! After the band enters, Ikiru reminds me of a My Chemical Romance song. I can't quite pinpoint why though as I've only heard like 3-4 My Chemical Romance songs.

Another on Yukiguni! Yessss. Ringo and Izawa are building a great atmosphere in the first half of the song before the rest of the band comes in and all comes crashing down. The whole pace of the song gets derailed.

Also agree with the ending of Kesho Naoshi.

The ending (last 20 seconds) of the Heisei Fuuzoku version of Meisai. It just seems so out of place.

As for Sakana, it's all good, and for me the abrupt ending is just one of The Little Things That She Does. I miss those.

The only conclusion I drew from this thread is that you're all Ramones fans.

@TurtleFu, I thought we were discussing our own feelings about music...not something objective. Experiments can be fun though, I speed up/slow down songs myself.

Season Goodbye's ending, that's something very interesting. I love her high-pitched wailing in the end when I listen to it alone, kind of embarrassing to listen to around other people.

I don’t like Izawa’s bit in Irresponsible Adults (Daihakken). It sounds like filler. Also Uki’s second song on Daihakken -- the end is kind of beautiful, the rest isn’t.

Definitely the chord change/guitar solo during Tengoku e Youkoso (among others). Seems so wrong.

I agree about Byoushou Public and Benkai Debussy having really offputting intros. I used to skip them, then I realized the rest of the song was actually really good and started forcing myself to listen to it all the way through from the beginning. I actually have memories of listening to those songs on the bus rides home from high school, doing just that.
