Don't like his two songs on Kyouiku as much as the rest, but after listening to his first two solo albums A LOT, I've reached the conclusion these albums are essential in Ringo fans' collection. Piano rock of the best kind. HZM is the man!

Problem with the (2) albums I've heard (Piano Head and Kira Kira whatever-its-called), it just makes me wanna listen to Midori instead (but not Kyouiku, weird huh).

Interestingly I bought his albums because he sounds like Midori. They contain some really fun and snappy tunes. It's not Tokyo Jihen but great original music.

And have you heard Hara Heri Inu? I think that's a masterpiece.

It's pretty good.
My favourite song is Daikirai from Pianohead. Hiro:n sounds so good on it I had to check out her solo stuff. Haven't heard anything very impressive though... |

Opening track is pretty, if too long. Shades of Yasunori Mitsuda. The rest... yeah.

Oh I see he also released an anime theme song cover album on the same day, haven't bothered with it yet, couldnt stomach the Miku one all the way through... It was like vocaloid music + Kyoiku's shitty production all rolled into one steaming pile. Yucky.
