I only heard 30 seconds of it, so I won't judge it fully yet. Sounds okay at best from the clip though.

They picked a strange 30 second segment to run with. Hard to get a feel for it.

So at the very least I'm hoping her track record with rap collabs remains in the "okay" range after this single. (Then again, how many of these have there been, 3 at most? Amai Yamai, Ryuukou, and Himitsu FOR DJ?)

Ringo's touring throughout Japan starting in October.

No name for the tour yet, as they haven't announced the dates or locations, but it's described as "全国ホールツアー", which means a nationwide hall tour.

The newsletter described how she wanted to play in more locations, and that she hadn't toured solo like this since the Sugoroku Ecstasy tour in 2003 (there were 10 performances during that tour). Sounds like she'll be doing more than the 4 or 5 tour dates in 2 or 3 cities that she's been doing the last few years.

That sounds promising.

I'm still more interested in Fuji Rock 15.

SR's becoming/is one of those musicians that perform forever, which is awesome.

At first I was gonna go to Fuji Rock. Then I was going to go to Rock In Japan. Now I'm potentially going to a full-blown Ringo show. F*CK YES.

Can't wait for an official announcement.

Can someone explain if there's a difference between these upcoming planned "Ringo-only" shows and something like Ringo Expo '14?

What sort of a difference?

Expo 14 only had three venues; Sugoroku had nine from Hokkaido to Kyushu. There's no way this upcoming tour can have all the pomp of an Expo since that would be a logistic nightmare (which is a good thing).

Listen to KZK. When in doubt, always listen to KZK.
