Word.

Although I'd probably say Inland Empire is my favorite...Laura Dern is quite amazing in it and the entire film is just so creepy...I wish Lynch would make some more film and stop making bad electronic music...

Yeah, pretty much have enjoyed most of his movies. The only ones I've been pretty meh about was Wild at Heart and Dune (admittedly, I've never seen his cut of the movie though)

Do you mean the theatrical (short) version, or the TV (long) version? Theatrical was Lynch's own cut, and I assume more people have seen that one.....?

Is that an actual release? I think I've seen the extended edition (maybe the TV cut Nimh mentioned), but it wasn't three hours.

I dunno which version I've seen then... I have this DVD http://www.dvdorchard.com.au/Product...ache=0.8870508

Looks like it's OOP now (I got this about 5 years ago) but yeah, that's the 3hr one.

Oh boy deadgrandma, please don't spark another Christopher Nolan debate.

No matter how good it is (and I expect it to be very good) people are probably gonna say it was a "let down, but better than Begins" because nothing will live up to The Dark Knight. Not so much because TDK was a zenith of film making or anything like that, but because the timing of the movie, and events tangentially surrounding it, was one in a million.

Now that that's out of the way, I'm excited for the last one! IMO The use of Bane (hopefully done right) is really intriguing and I assume it's going to be epic.
