PUYOL!!! I'm not really a Spain fan, but I'm a huge Puyol fan. I always favor players who are primarily defensive players. I'm happy it was him that sent Spain to the final! <3

Side note: I almost missed the beginning of the game because Bravo has a Top Chef marathon on today. Padma Lakshmi is one of the most beautiful women in the world and can distract me from anything.

I guess the weak sides were making us look good.

Maybe we'll win the next World Cup...

Tonight, that octopus will become takoyaki.

All the best wishes for Spain, although I prefer to see teams who stand up strong and don't fall like leaves on first autumn breeze.

And oh... my god how much and fast Robben ran in yesterday's game.

Congrats Spain - you fell best of all teams and deserved the win for it! Schneider lets of some gas and Iniesta falls! Who's to blame...

Not even a football fan, to be honest, but...I love games like these.

Japan's probably done for now, though.

Equaliser! It's 1-1 going into extra time... I'm going to have to find a dodgy video stream... Or, BBC have it on their website, that'll do.

Come on Japan!!!!! (sorry USA)

edit: Crap. 2-1 to the USA.

I'm from the US and I'm pulling for Japan, but it's just an underdog thing for me. This is a great game.

Edit: More US than Japan fans in Germany, apparently? What happened to our reputation in Europe?
