Yeah, it came out today, well, almost yesterday now. Overall, it was pretty good, I doubt anyone will complain that likes HP. Sure, they missed a bit, but at least not as bad as Goblet of Fire.

Also, Voldemort got far too many laughs from the audience when it was meant to be deadly serious. What that says about Ralph Fiennes I dunno :-p

To be honest, I've been laughing at his ridiculous makeup/nose since Goblet of Fire. Leave it to muggles to find somebody like him funny

EDIT: That sentence makes me sound like an HP fanboy...which I am not. The hype is so easy to get caught in

"Liking something" /=/ fanboy

I like Harry Potter, I go with my friend who is a superfan. But my interest is pretty much only in the books (which are really good) and the films (which are terrible to pretty okay)

Goblet of Fire was the best one
(no, I don't want to hear about Cuaron and Azkaban.)

Ralph Fiennes is a terrible actor. He's also a cheating douchbag. So meh.

I'm surprisingly pumped for the new movie. We're taking a caravan to the drive-in Thursday night where they're playing both of the deathly hallows. They're the ONLY Potter movies I'm interested in. They actually give it proper time to enjoy the plot.

Books are still farrr superior.

Goblet of Fire was terrible. The editing was all over the place, scenes started and ended without notice. Granted that's a problem with most HP movies, but it seemed especially bad in Goblet.

There is a HP movie marathon happening now in Singapore. I don't even know why people would sit on their asses for that long for series of movies.

At my local theater, they are showing all of the movies either a) over the week leading up to the premier or b) all at once, with DH pt1 ending right before the premier. There are short breaks between every two movies, and right before Pt 2. One of my friends is doing it.

My main problem with the Potter series is that all the major plot points/twists in every installment stem from whatever MacGuffin-of-the-week Rowling can fabricate. The seventh one blows it out of proportion entirely.

I think you'll have to elaborate a little, because it seems to me you're complaining about fiction being made-up.
