They really are. Considering I'm also a Gorillaz fan, I'm unsure why it took me so much longer to discover CM. Although I find their second album rather lackluster (at least compared to their first), Viva! La Woman has to be one of my all-time favorites.

Viva La Woman is "better" but I find lots to like in Stereo Type A. "King of Silence" , "Speechless" "Working for Vacation" off the top of my head.

They are, and Miho's Bosa nova project, Smokey and Miho, is one of my top 10 cds.

Been hesitating to post since I wanted to give the album a chance before I decided what I liked and what I was "fanboying" about. I think I tend to like the slower Jazz-like songs that sound they would be found on something prior; but still enjoy the frantic ramble of randomness that they achieve with some of the newer quick paced tracks. Over all favorites are, the "for CD" version and the BPM song and the one after that. Although I am not too crazy about her english lyrics most of the time I was pleasantly surprised with it. (Almost doubted if it was a cover or something)

Its a good walk in the park album for me. meh

I agree, which in itself makes for a welcome transition from Sports and/or Variety.

On another note, does Otona-tachi remind anyone else of an updated (better) album-Shuraba?

^ Or she could distribute songwriting responsibilities more evenly and get even higher quality albums, like SPORTS.

Collabs. Collaborations. Just slipped her mind. Will be interesting with a few new sounds.
