^Yes, yes it is. He's also featured on bass and in the title of the last track, as well as I believe he produced the album itself. It's actually a pretty good listen.

I'm not sure if EMF already knew or cares enough, but I just unintentionally came across this:
Artist : HZETTRIO Title (Album) : ★★★ Release Date : 2013.12.04 Tracklist HZETTRIO - ★★★ 1. みんなのチカラ 2. ぼくをみていた 3. PARTY TIME 4. HAVE A NICE DAY ! 5. 世界は廻るよ 6. 黄昏ウィークエンド 7. パノラマビュー 8. Kids song 9. LOVE AND PEACE AND SWEETS 10. YOU From what I can tell from the picture above, the trio is, instruments-wise, basically PE'Z without the wind ones. I have no idea about the songwriting of neither of them. Is H ZETT M a regular composer in PE'Z? Last edited by Carlx : 2014.02.14 at 07:42 AM. |

I suppose HZETTRIO is to PE'Z, what J.A.M is to SOIL&"PIMP"SESSIONS. Come to think of it, the same roster was involved in Ryuukou (along with the core members of Maboroshi).
I haven't been consistently following which members of PE'Z were responsible for which songs, but from the few CD booklets I recall gleaming through, most of the band members are songwriters. Some of the recent songs I figured had probably been written by HZM, had actually been written by the bassist. But anyway, yes, HZM is a regular songwriter for PE'Z.

How am I supposed to pronounce that album title? "Three Stars"?

Yes, I think it's "Three Stars", there was another album from a boy band that had six stars and was called "Six Stars" (in English).

But remember it's a Japanese album. At first I thought it was probably スリー・スターズ (Surii Staazu, Three Stars) but it turns out that the pronunciation for the album is 三ツ星 (Mittsu Hoshi, Three Stars). The Perfume album does take the English pronunciation but I wouldn't be surprised if Japanese fans call it 三角 (Sankaku, Triangle) instead of トライアングル (Toraianguru, Triangle). English speakers obviously prefer to revert to English when no Japanese is provided, and there's probably nothing wrong with that either. Just be wary when searching for these sort of products. A symbol can be interpreted in many different ways.

Album has 7 reviews all give it 5 stars, either it's very good or HZM and his band members wrote the reviews.
