Hata Toshiki to play drums on coba's new stuff
Well, it looks like Hata Toshiki will be the drummer for coba-the-Bonsai-Hada-guy's new event, called Virgin Cabaret, where I think he will introduce his new band, since their MySpace has a couple of songs under the artist name "Virgin Cabaret"... It sounds great so far.

original
This song was composed by Hattori Ryoichi. He is grandfather of Hattori Takayuki who arranged Mittei Monogatari and Irokoizata. |

Ooh, I like that song. It's so weird to hear such old songs about districts of a country that still exist today. It's even weirder when you read an even older book about England or Rome that does the same thing. x.x
I like the whole family history relations too. I loooove learning more and more about songs from post or even pre-war Japan, but aside from Namiki Michiko and Misora Hibari I really haven't found any popular singers of that time. And a lot of the videos I've seen of the songs from back then seem to be tied in with movies, like the way India's music industry is completely intertwined with Bollywood. |
