Apologies for occasional necroing but here's a few additions to my own list:

23/03 Akai Kou'en - Junjou Randsel
25/03 Blood Ceremony - Lord of Misrule
01/04 Weezer - Weezer [White Album] (yup...)
29/04 Brian Eno - The Ship
06/05 White Lung - Paradise

James Blake - Radio Silence (!!!)
Frank Ocean - Boys Don't Cry
Hikaru Utada - TBA (ofc)
Azealia Banks - Business & Pleasure
Portishead - TBA

I really hope Hikki album news won't get debunked this time.

I thought Utada herself mentioned she was working on an album?

Frank Ocean releasing an album titled with a Cure reference? Interesting.

DG will be happy to hear I've been enjoying Zombie Change a lot. I was listening to it last night and got about half way through and originally thought "alright, this is getting boring.." but then the last few tracks really amp up the quality and I couldn't stop listening. "One more song...okay one more.." Addicting album!

Coincidentally listened to Zombie-change yesterday as well. Instantly clicked for me. One of this year's favourites for me and it totally didn't bore me.

I thought she reminded me of Oomori Seiko vocally but with more restrain (tamer --- so maybe people like gekokuyo should give it a try? )
As an evangelion fan I just thought of Oomori as an Eva unit gone berserk.

Portishead reminded of themselves back in 2014 (I think there's a FACT article) and told a bit about their soon-to-be-finished progress with the said album. Also: Geoff seems to be way too active lately (you can go ask him directly thru twitter about that).

A.k.a speculations, but one can only hope after seeing them touring a lot lately!

Oh man. I need that new PJ Harvey album now. New song The Community of Hope is classic PJ Harvey. Sounds more "Stories" than "Let England Shake" to me.

Yeah I love The Community of Hope... didn't really think about Stories too much though, but then again... you're not entirely wrong. Production is certainly similar I'd say. And of course, the most guitar driven PJ since Uh Huh Her.

Been listening to Boris x Merzbow's Gensho.

I absolutely love the Boris disc. It's amazing drone style renditions of classic tracks are breathtaking. The MBV cover is astonishing.

The Merzbow disc is brutal as fuck. Overwhelming as it gets.

Put together... it doesn't really work as well as it does live. I can never find a satifactory mixing level and sometimes I feel like they distract from one another. The overwhelming emotion on the Boris disc are dampened by the overwhelming chaos of the Merzbow disc and vice versa.

However... still waiting for the live discs. I saw the Boiler Room set where they were taken from and it blew my fucking mind. I'm guessing that's where the true magic is at.

If not. Two good albums regardless, just not sure the concept works all that well.

I had feeling that would be the case regarding the new Boris x Merzbow. It's not any different than their idea behind Dronevil, really. Though, I guess they want you to tweak volume levels and what not to get a different experience every time with Gensho.

I'm sure someone will put a combined version of the albums online at some point like they did with Dronevil. Hopefully it's adjusted to sound perfectly.
