Smashing Pumpkins - "Doomsday Clock"
I liked the song better when it was released 10 years ago by Cocco as Hashiru Karada. Billy should be proud, he rocks like a tiny skeletal japanese woman with mental problems. (tho Cocco was friggin harsh, no diss to her)

Half way through my first listen of Show Your Bones, as somewhat recommended in the Adult thread, of all places. And I'm really enjoying it.

Show Your Bones REALLY impressed me. I liked the YYYs first EP, but was dismayed by Machine and what I hadheard of Fever to Tell didnt impress me (my friend loved all the songs I dislike onthat album, and that was all I was exposed to for a while.) But afterplaying "Gold Lion" on the radio one night, and listening further to Bones, I was made a believer.

lead vocalist Ohtsuki Kenji's temporary project in 1998.
Because I made great deal of so-called artistry, was forgotten in the world while young, wasn't needed and died alone. If I will be reborn, then be pop, be salable, be understandable by the public, be sooner and easily favorite by important people of companys and got tie-ups, write lots of such kind of songs, make lots of such kind of works, and recieve large sum of money from my works, want to bring my family to Saitama Gosneyland by that money.

anyone ever heard of Midori?
I bought the Detroit Metal City tribute album and they had a metal mix of this song on there, which made me download the regular version, and which eventually peaked my interest in Midori. Props to being an indie band and having their entire website bilingual

Radiohead - Packt Like Sardines In A Crushd Tin Box
My housemate came in and said "Who's this?" and I said "Radiohead" and he stayed silent for about 10 seconds then said "Creep Radiohead?" and I said "Yes" then he left the room with the most bizarre look on his face. I love it when people generalize an artist based on one or two hit singles they've heard. I've been listening to Radiohead lot's recently too... god knows what he thought it was.

Awwww man, I've heard that myself three times this past semester. I listen to either Radiohead or TJ in my car almost all the time, and three of my friends at different times have asked me if the music they were hearing was by the band who did Creep.
Upon hearing 2+2=5, one of them started to redeem himself by acknowledging that the band has come a tremendously long way. |
