Inch Chua, recently slammed Singapore's music scene for being as shit as hell.(which I totally agree). She is now in the midst of planning to open in LA. http://sg.news.yahoo.com/blogs/music...093158107.html > Negative comments on her band, "i don't like this band, they don't play any songs i know" or "oh, this band is good, they don't sound local". Would you believe this shit singaporeans say? People who go to these "concerts" really expect Singaporeans to play only COVERS? Polytechnics have been said to be the hippest place to be around. Nothing but people who follow trends. My school, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, almost everyone listens to party rock anthem. My school's radio fucking plays it every half-hour. Nothing outside of mainstream. No adventure. And what is up if the volunteering craze in Singapore? Isn't it abit ironic that singaporean kids go abroad all the time to help the poor impoverished kids when my government doesn't give half a shit about helping others. It's funny that you dislike Inch Chua, because I've heard several "Singaporean Shiina Ringo" comparisons. If that even means anything.

I also discovered this Kuki cover by Inch Chua recently and was about to share it here. It's one of the very few covers to be worth it to my opinion and this girl is really talented.
I love her voice... Btw, I also have a little new "jam" here : http://youtu.be/EeIRwUJFKTU

Pretty admirable arrangement of Ringo no Uta. Guy also did one for Noudouteki Sanpunkan and Toumei Ningen, though those two are less impressive and lack the vocal track. You should check them out Paris; solid jam material.
