OH LAWD, someone just posted KPop up in here.
But actually, Brown Eyed Girls are actually one of the few good groups. Sixth Sense (their newest album) is pretty good. And there are real instruments on it. As for what I'm listening to, Sayuri Sugawara's newest mini-album is actually rather great.
Her doing an electro-rock track when she's an R&B singer was a great move. And she pulled out a guitar in the live performance. That won her 30 million cool points in my book. |

i know most of pop is commercial and trash but i still don't discriminate music even if it is pop, i could listen to any kind of good music, the bassist for Rollercoaster(highly acclaimed korean indy band) is also a kpop producer, he made abracadabra, a song for Boa and a couple for snsd

That's because, in Korea, to make money and also make music, you MUST at some point work with idols. In Japan, a band like TJ, or solo artists like Utada Hikaru can thrive along with the Arashi, SMAP, and AKB48. In Korea it's 2PM and SNSD. And ONLY 2PM and SNSD. That's where the money is.
