Luna Sea mux:
http://endlesshorizon.muxtape.com/

It's not exactly how I wanted it because of the size limitation of the site so there's no Virgin Mary, Breathe, or Genesis of Mind. I'll upload those somewhere else. I'm also going to do a non-Luna Sea mix soon.

And if you're looking for a forum where no one argues...this is the wrong one.
I am a n00b, but have spent quite some time reading lots of dormant threads in order to understand the dynamics of this community, and recognize that a certain amount of playful contention seems de rigueur, and I have no problem with that. Once I am more comfortably ensconced, that not so latent aspect of my personality may become a bit more evident.
Many threads here have an occasional reminder posted to not forget about the original topic, and I was careful to say completely overwhelmed in recognition that multiple themes are going to inevitably co-exist. I just didn't want the swell muxtape idea to get buried and forgotten.

Ehh, that usually only happens when an argument gets carried away (usually involving me. ) I guess this thread was getting close tho,but normally if theres a thread with over 15 posts, its assuredly moved onto a much different topic from the OP. This is standard procedure

Haha. Maybe I should have just put the entire Lunacy album in the mix? My rips of Loveless and Mother are both too big in size to fit on Muxtape and In Silence has already been shared twice I think. It's alright though. This is just a small sample. I'm going to put up every Luna Sea album and B-side before I (mostly) leave for the summer.

An excellent muxtape! I look forward to your posts more than perhaps any others. You share so much delicious wisdom.

To add to the Honnou argument, when I heard the song for the first time, be it my untrained ear, it sounded like a typical high-pitched jpop tune. It wasn't until after spending more time with her discography did I start to appreciate the song for it's melody and the strength in vocals, which made me yearn for the tune every so often.

I'd add a muxtape list, but SR is dominating my music tastebuds for now; the list wouldn't bring much novelty.

It does sound extremely pop. But sometimes we have a tendency to push away things that sound melodious and immediate, mistakenly labeling them as commercial pop garbage.

A good song is a good song. I have to remind myself sometimes to keep my prejudices in check.

Can't a pop song be a good song? Can't a good song be a pop song? As much as the word "pop" has become synonymous with mass-produced "music", I refuse to believe that the two are mutually exclusive.

A large part of SR's charm is in her ability to convey complex musical ideas through catchy tunes. Don't discount a song's validity just because it sounds poppish. It's not easy to write catchy tunes.
