Bioshock is astounding, Halo 3 is setting up to be better than I could ever have imagined (Forge, Meta-game, 4-play co-op and brilliant Film editor = feature overload!!!1) and then a month later Mass Effect comes out, which is another GOTY contender. It would have been nice if GTAIV made it's release date, despite the fact that I wouldn't know where to find the time to play it but meh, there's a good few more than I can't even afford *cough* Christmas *cough*

If the merge happen around '05-'06 and having some of those franchises as launch titles would be good. Releasing those franchises on Gamecube probally won't do much to keep them alive... but Jet Set Radio and Shenmue on Wii? oh the possibilities...

All 3 of those franchises have pretty popular incarnations on the Xbox. I loved Panzer Dragoon Orta, Jet Set Radio Future and Shenmue II on the Xbox. There are rumours of a Shemue 3-in-one game (1, 2 and the as-yet-to-be-released 3) for the 360/PS3 with updated graphics. A new Jet Set Radio game could be fun on the Wii.

Exactly, and those 3 franchises right oe have about a 0% chance of having a reprise this gen. (In fact, a guy from Sega pretty much said exactly that statement in regards to Shenmue)

And those 3 games are exactly why I bought an Xbox. In the unlikely chance they do make new JSR or Panzer Dragoons, they will assuredly be crap because Smilbit is dead, and Sega is assuredly going to gimp any potentially decent game out of it's doors.
