Hmm, not just to argue, but the board is pretty dead.

I would agree to a PV with the original Mellow audio that had archival images from the early years, or even a career spanning montage could be very nice.

It is the new images and the lipsyncing over an 8 year old track that wouldn't work for me. To match the video, I feel at least a rerecording of the vocal track (if there was one) is required, otherwise it is just too strangely discordant. To me. Opinion.

Plus I chooseto believe the reason why Mellow, of all songs, gets a pv is cuz Shiina discovered EMF, saw that her best fan -- Tokyo Jihad-- loves Mellow and wanting to appease him after two "fill-in-the-negative-adjective" albums in 07 decides to promote Mellow.

a new version would be more a "slap in the face" than appeasement =(

her choice of Mellow also confirms that she still has good taste in rock music and isnt out of touch with what her fans really want to hear again.

Really? What about a Mellow (Saitou Neko ver.)?

I agree with the "should-be-untouched" thing. And with the "don't-put-ringo-lipsynch" in the PV too.

All this time I had "Memai" in my head. Really hoped for that one. Not Mellow. :-( Aww, shoot.

I mean Mellow is not bad but Memai is a damn cool song.

im personally just glad to see an actual PV. the kono yo no kagiri video was cute but didn't last so long....the ringo no uta video was a nice tribute but hardly something worth watching over and over. however, you look back at SS , even KSK videos and its proof that she can actually pull off some really amazingly PVs. The short clip we have of Mellow excites me mainly because it looks like something that fit in right along with Gibbs, Yami ni Furu Ame and all those other videos...Tokyo Jihen needs to discover PV's again, the only PV with actual production value was Dynamite...maybe Shuraba as well....Senkou Shoujo didn't count haha.
