Yeah, I'm glad she has a good English accent and I enjoy her English songs. But I wonder when she writes her English lyrics, does she get anyone to help her with editing? I noticed that on the Heisei Fuuzoku album, there are 'English Translation' credits to ROBBIE CLARK and a Japanese person with the same last name as her.

Also, has anyone ever heard her speak in English? I want to hear her English accent when she's not singing.

I've wondered all those same things, badtzmaru. XD

Especially what her English sounds like when she's not singing...

Should she? She already does. A lot.

Should she continue? Frankly, nobody I know would listen to her if she didn't sing in English. I made a special "Ringo in English" playlist on my mp3 to exclude her Japanese songs when I'm riding in the car with someone.

I've only heard her say that little bit of French in the Dynamite In! DVD, but I don't think I've ever heard her speak English.

I Really don't mind she sing in English. Since if compare with others japanese English, she could be the best.

And almost all of her song/cover that written in English is a good song.

I like her singing in English, but I don't want her to do it all the time... So, I voted 'no'. Love tracks like "Kenka Joutou", "Sakuran", etc., but I like her singing in Japanese better

It really depends. Dynamite kind of pissed me off, in parts like "Chain Reaction" I refuse to believe thats what she's actually saying XD

But in some other songs, like La Salle de Bain, More, and my latest favourite, Sakuran, I really like it.

I think she should continue singing in english, its really the only way she will get better. Maybe in a couple of years it will be a lot better than now.

Well, i'm pretty sure we weren't voting for shiina to sing in english exclusively, but one or two english songs on a album is just rite. But she really needs people to edit her lyrics, people who actually speak english, la salle de bain is just painful.

The first song I ever heard from her was La Salle de Bain and I loved her english. As mentioned earlier she does sing in english very well compared to other japanese singers, and I think it is very good regardless of whether you compare it to the other japanese singers. Sure she has an accent, but I wish I had an accent like her french one. I give her props for singing in different languages and I would love it if she would release an album only in english.
