I hate the whole album (except Kronekodow) because I know what Shiina can do!! it's just unacceptable full stop.

Hard (but true) statement you made here! You don't even like OSCA?

Hmmm... I really like OSCA and Killer Tune, and I consider them "TJ classics", but... you're right when you say the other tracks in the album are not classics. I think I wouldn't miss "Kingyo no Hako", for example... On the other hand, I couldn't live without some not-single-tracks from SR's albums (the whole KSK, ie).

I could pretty much live without any of the Jihen output after Adult.. B-Sides and all! my iPod statistics say it all.. all the other stuff has been listened to in the hundreds and Variety-era stuff is less than double digits.

You know, I wish Shiina'd read your posts... You're the clearest example of a fan of hers. She should take this in account for future releases .

I just wish she'd release some quality!!
when you look at your Ipod and think hmm Tsukigime-Hime or let's say Meisai..? it's not a choice is it ? your only going one way in that train of thought.

The album release time line could be compared to a person running

01. Kyouiku: Sprinting at full speed
02. Adult: slowing for a breath but still running
03. Variety: collapsed and dead!

(I know I double posted but that analogy just sprang to mind and I felt the need to air it)
