Um, to me Soft Shock sounds awful. I say that cautiously. Just an opinion, a single voice. I like hearing everything, perhaps more what I don't like than what I do. Helps me understand why I like certain stuff.
Sounds crunched to death, like music put in a trash compacter. No width, no depth, just a smashed blam, an annoying thud. Ineptly inorganic. The bleak antithesis of the track I posted earlier, which consisted of a small group of folded tubes captured by a couple of microphones in real time. I do like fake stuff. Really good fake stuff.

Perfume is the only Jpop that I even pay attention to anymore. GAME was my number one played album of '08, and I finally got their triangle album at the beginning of January. It's not as good a GAME but still has great songs. the album version of "edge" is nothing short of EPIC and "the best thing" is just soooo good. |

I loveeee GAME! It's just so great, one of my favorite Japanese songs of all time.
Kinda disappointed with the whole album, but I love this song. |
