Is it just me, or does this live version sound a lot better than the digital version released a few weeks back? The canned backing band performance is a little disappointing, but on the other hand, at least her voice is front and center. The digital version was somewhat lacking in dynamic range and seemed to almost de-emphasize her vocals a bit as the result.

I actually thought her vocals were pretty faithful to the recorded version, even if non-SR fans would probably find them appalling.

Not saying her performance in the recording was bad at all. Maybe non-SR fans would say so, but nobody asked them for their opinion.

I think it's more of a production thing, rather than her actual performance.

Do ANY of the high-res files online vendors accept international cards?

Would like to get Sunny (for better or worse) in 96khz/24 bit.

e-onkyo wont but HQM might offer some hope...

It seems to be all classical music though. I'd be surprised if Sunny just got lumped in among them unless there's a Japanese division of the store which is vastly different?

She really wants to be getting that album on OTOTOY. It's like they don't want my money.

EDIT: well I'm registered with mora now so I'll have a go at buying Sunny when it drops.

So was linked these (from Pizza-dreams tumblr), they're apparantly from the December issue of Rockin' On Japan. Damn, another magazine that I'll probably end up buying.

Those look a lot better than the actual ROCKIN'ON cover.

The HQM site accepts Paypal as payment, so I take that (and the whole site being in English) as a good sign that we'll be able to buy the album in hi-res audio from them. So it looks like they're throwing us international fans a bone for once.
