RIP Amy Winehouse
Although her drug abuse was more the widely famous I'm still somehow stunned that she is now dead.
In the back of my head I was still patiently waiting for a great 3rd album. I'll miss her.

And then Lady GaGa eventually responds with "It's time for me to finally get back the hair color which has always been mine".

What a sad day. I'm devastated. The music world has lost yet another visionary, one whose ability and propensity to self-destruct is only match by her brilliance in musical expression. When I watched LIVE IN LONDON about 2 years back I was praying so so so hard for Amy to take care of her health... In her mind she must have been one of those superhuman spirits that lived outside the limitations of her body, which could be one of the reasons she didn't really take care of herself. Amy promised us an album that was "jukebox"... and I was so looking forward to being completely and utterly amazed and energised and also crying together with her and the music that she makes. Amy, may you finally find peace. love, JR.

RIP, Amy. While I didn't support your life decisions, I did love your music.
Now for the inevitable graverobbing with demos, unreleased tracks, and record company flood to make money. |

It finally happened. She stopped caring about herself years ago. Check out any of her live performances. She's either really drunk or high on something.
Its not surprising, but still sad. Depression and drugs and self abuse; what other outcome could there be? |
