I guess Shiina isn't a fan of EPs.

U have JPS right *hint hint*

I am pleasantly surprised. I liked every single song on first listen. That rarely happens. This is going to be good.

I might like the new album ten times more than the self-cover album judging from samples, and I love the self-cover album!

Sankyuu.

Wow. These previews are fantastic! The additional singles are a bonus in my eyes. I hear the SG resemblance that DG mentioned. Almost like SG on steroids.

Can't wait to have this album in my hands. I ordered the blu-ray edition off Amazon.

These songs have SG class but with such a trashy cover.

The juxtaposition has opened a wormhole somewhere.

Random thought. The flute on the new song 走れゎナンバー reminds me of this Van Morrison song.

EDIT: OMG, this album sounds FIERCE.
I've been listening to the demo tapes over the last few days for the first time in a long time and I was quite surprised as well! I wouldn't mind a whole album that consisted of self-covers of unreleased demo tracks.

Also, there's going to be 96kHz/24-bit digital distribution of Hi Izuru Tokoro starting on the album release day! I don't know if Heisei Fuzoku was still being sold in hi-res, but it'll be available then too.

They'll be sold at the following sites:

...but NIPPON.

Judging from previews, is exactly what I would expect a solo Sports/Dai-Hakken album to sound like.

I didn't hear any of that influence at all, actually. I hear more Sanmon Gossip than anything else.
