I enjoyed this conference more for the dancing than the actual games

MGS Rising was the only good thing at the MS conference. Bayonetta did goods things for the hack and slash genre and now MGSR will push it even further. I can't wait to see how Valhalla responds with Devil's Third when the Master returns in 2012.
Edits: - Itagaki reportedly walked out after MGSR was shown and vowed not to be outdone by Kojima Productions. Devil's Third will be amazing. - I haven't played Assassin's Creed 2 yet, but I'm ready to purchase after seeing the Brotherhood gameplay. - Dead Space 2 looks as lame as the first one. - Nintendo's conference was incredible with Zelda, Metroid: Other M, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Kirby, Epic Mickey, and Kid Icarus. - The announced games for the 3DS blew me away. Metal Gear, Resident Evil, Mario Kart, Star Fox, Ninja Gaiden, Dead or Alive, SMT, SMT: Persona, and SMT: Devil Survivor all appeal to me.

Couldn't help myself. Bought a Wii again for Mario Galaxy 2 and a number of games at their E3 conference I liked.

OMG! I thought the Steel Batallion scene was long dead had my setup in storage for the past 5 years but recently found a private group keeping the dream alive! I'm getting pwned hard but it's still the best fun you can have with a stupidly oversized controller.
My accelerator pedal was always/still a bit stiff though :/ |

One week from now I'll be playing Persona 3 Portable. It will be my third purchase of Persona 3 and I have no regrets. I'll buy it again if they release on the 3DS, but I'm for a P4 port on 3DS instead. Since I have so much experience with P3, I'll be playing the new scenario as the female on Maniacs difficulty. I look forward to the many frustrating encounters.
I love the vocal tracks in both games (yay Engrish!):
Much, much better than the in-game version.
It never gets old for me. <3 the guitar solo.
The best dungeon in P4.

Wow, Limbo looks amazing!
Figured it was time the thread had a title change to match the TV/Movie threads since a lot of talk is about up and coming games and not just what we're currently playing.

Limbo is fantastic. Short and sweet. I wish it had been cheaper though. 1200 MS points is a steep price to pay for such a short game. I have no regrets about buying it. I won't regret buying Castlevania: Harmony of Despair (I still like you IGA) or Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light either.

It is really fantastic. I was worried after being initially attracted to it that it'd be art style first, gameplay second, but the gameplay has impressed me just as much. Just the right amount of challenge to not be too frustrating, and the puzzles always felt fresh. It is short, and it'd probably be better priced at 800 points but I don't regret my purchase either. Just got that last achievement to get now to complete it in one sitting dying less than 5 times.
