When I wrote "her roots" I totally meant like way before she debuted. Where do you think she learnt scat singing from?
 She was already listening to soul/jazz stuff and her early work had elements of soul/jazz even though the arrangements were mainly rock-based. Hip-hop influenced music is not necessarily bad... but there are just toooo many terrible hip-hop music out there. I think just as long as she doesn't do a Mariah Carey Touch My Body kinda thing.. I should be happy. Which reminds me:
Once we see videos of this sort on youtube you know SR's career is over. lol.

eh at this rate we'll probably just have to wait for the March album release.
there's some sort of announcement about the song on the official website. its the chaku uta full being released on that date, so up till then apparently all that was released was just the ringtone, which is probably why it isn't up on the net yet.
