As one who doesn't physically own these cds otherwise, and not averse to this concept entirely...I skipped just because I didnt want to pay the close to $100 =(

Well I ordered mine this morning from Yesasia and the status on my order says "ready, in stock"

I'm glad I'm getting it since I lost my SS and KZK CDs last year. The re-mastering is a bonus then for me. For it's price I think it's a great starter set for people who haven't picked up any SR before.

Believe me, you guys who skipped on this arent missing out on much. Whatever you hear on the original cd's [or mp3's for the naughty fans] is the same just a bit clearer.

But $80 to $100 worth of clarity and paper knick knacks?

I say definitely not.

I passed on getting Mika Nakashima's new album and the HZM dvd to get Mora. theres some buyers remorse over here for sure.

Each to their own!, I like the idea of having the boxset and my son has already decided he's having the poster on his bedroom wall. The fact that I had Yesasia credit and that I need the original CD's back again (I have the original cases too) makes the decision easy for me personally.

If I already had all the CD's and didn't fancy having something a bit different from a simple CD album as an Xmas gift, then with all the other releases that have appeared recently, I'd definitely put my money to work somewhere else too. But I'm a sucker for boxsets so it's a no brainer decision for me here.

But all in all I think it's fairly good value, since each individual album CD would be £20 which would be £60 together and I paid £50 for the lot, the tacked on singles and Ringo no Uta plus the extras (some people dig stickers and art cards etc I guess) and free shipping etc. If of course you don't mind the different packaging or whatever, to some people the boxset appeals to others seperate CD's are a must. It's really whatever floats your boat.

But for people who do want it still, mine that I ordered yesterday has been shipped. So it looks like Yesasia still have them if people DO want them.

It'd be nice if they released special 'empty' boxes for the people who already have everything, I'd like that to happen.

Definitely! but why stop there? I'd probably buy custom Shiina themed display/storage to keep my collections in too.

I'm actually looking about online for a place in the UK that will make me a custom oak box with her apple logo engraved on it, but so far I have found nothing except cardboard boxes.

EDIT: I found a place who will do custom boxes! but they are expensive! think I'll wait until new year before I get it done.

Sounds great, I like the idea of having the apple logos engraved on the side. That kind of custom work can be expensive. Before I saw your edit I was going to recommend PolmacUK since they did some custom boxes for some presentation work I did a while back, but I'm not sure if they do CD style boxes.

I'm probably not going to do much more than get some extra regular shelves put up, but I do have a big apple shaped mirrorball and a Shiina inspired doll on my Shiina/TJ shelf *lol*.

I had another look through the wood specialists and found a guy who can make me a custom oak box for about £100, he said he can't do the apple engraving directly into the wood, but I can have 'Shiina Ringo' on a brass plaque on the lid, so that's good enough I guess ? I'm gonna get it done some point in the new year.
