Back in the days when TV channels weren't broadcasting 24 hours a day, they showed color bars in between broadcastings. So I'd translate it as hiatus. Tokyo Jihen could have other ideas though. I'll hope it's not the end.

Oh, I think I got it!
Each album is a different "channel" or "programme".
"CS Channel" is along that idea.
What do you show between "broadcasts" (programmes, channels?) Color Bars!

I'm thinking it's not a hiatus, it's just a way of TJ saying that this album is between the "real" broadcasts.

Have I mentioned I actually love the television theme?

I'm hoping it means that they're done with this TV jazz and that they'll start making music that isn't at all affected by cheesy themes. I love Sports, but it's a terrible title and theme. And track 1 of Discovery is unlistenable because it's so heavily influenced by corniness. I just want fresh music, unhindered by concepts that aren't really that interesting to begin with.

Naw mon, I'm still a top-tier Jihen fan... still have more interest in them than solo Ringo. I just want the themes to go. And I want people to stop pretending that For the Disc was remotely good. :b

Honestly, if this meant a Jihen hiatus and another solo album, I would soil myself and run screaming around my room out of joy. I NEED SOLO RINGO IN MY LIFE.
