I own an unopened copy, but I'm not so sure that any Gunjou Biyori CDs are different from each other, inside or out. My spare copy (as well as the first copy I bought and opened) does have a sticker on it. Maybe first-press has an extra sticker in addition to the main one I'm thinking of. I don't know, but this is something I sure would like to find out more about.

The reason why I'm asking for this information is because there are editions of Kyoiku and Sounan (single) which feature a kind of 'tabbed' jewel case backing sheet (the piece of paper that is inserted in between the external jewel case and the piece holding the CD itself). They seem to be a set of three. I'm wondering if the Gunjou Biyori single is the third of the set with this feature.

You're talking about obis. I don't think they exist for Tokyo Jihen Phase 1 CDs.

Do you refer to the fact that the case is "clear" for most parts where the cover and case are joined, with one small rectangle of paper pretty much in the middle? I noticed that too on my Sounan single. I can't find my Gunjo Byori for the moment (>_< my cds are all over the place, well my cases are...) but it's not the same for my Kyoiku, this one has plain paper all the way.

Now, I bought all these on release dates, so they might be first press, but I was under the impression that all copies had that "tab" thingie.

I have an obi for my Kyoiku, but not the phase 1 singles.

My (non-first press) Gunjou Biyori CD doesn't have the 'tab' thingy, but my (non-first press) Sounan CD does. I've been wondering about what that 'tab' was, too. o_o
