Deadgrandma suggests that Ringo somewhat lost the balance between the visuals and the music itself and I can't disagree with it.
I imagine that he might actually consider this concert a case in point, but I'm still willing to defend EXPO '14 as a pretty good live recording. There are several bright points (Souretsu is stellar) and not even Uki's rap ruined it for me.

Thanks tsukigimehime for posting this! I will try to get on with more of them on my end...holidays just got away from me a bit.

Back on topic, Expo 14 does feature an over-emphasis on visuals, but to say that the concert is nothing more than the visuals and lacks audio-only replay value (as was suggested at the time) I think is greatly underestimating it. I've listened to it a number of times since, mostly driving in the car so with no visuals, and IMO there's plenty of substance there. There were a couple of performances that were sub-par (NIPPON in particular), but a number that were really great. Souretsu was excellent, as zordon says; I'd say it was *almost* as good as the '09 performance. Kinjirareta Asobi was also excellent; so were the new songs from Sunny. Expo 14 also introduced Saihate ga Mitai, the live rendition of which I enjoyed.

I'm not gonna say anymore than I already have on this particular release (you can read my review of it if you like), but:

With these product threads being created, I hope someone can move them to the right spot and also update the product index

Surely it's no more than a 15 minute job to get things up to date now that the actual listings are complete?

Anyone out there???

Fuck, I'll do it if you want. JUST NEED THE POWA.

Oh man, Ringo Expo 14 reissue has that awful half cover shit that she's been putting on all 'regular' versions since the 15th anniversary. Such a scumbag move, bitch.
