On first listen, I think it's decent but I don't know what to think of it yet. And I don't mean that in a bad sense.

AT is just too different for me to compare. While SG is more like my cup of tea - which I've expected to be the case too - AT is a beautiful little song in itself. I guess it's going to be one of her more overlooked ones in the future, sadly... |

Yeah, it's like comparing a MM track to a KZK track. Good in totally different ways. Sure, KZK is more ambitious, but MM is more down to earth.

Hmmmm...
So. There won't be any Jazztronik on the album and this song is supposed to be a paralel with "Ringo Catalogue", a song that is completely different from anything else she has ever done. Which makes me think... that the album won't sound anything like "SG~SG~" Maou's theory about this being a mixture of different songs also adds more credit to this argument, mainly that the parts may sound different from the whole. And yeah, this was supposed to be a remix of the album - BUT, it was also supposed to be its preview, a sneak peek into it. So I think it's not going to sound completely like SG, but won't be too far from that. |
