Was relistening to Mariko Gotos m@u... It's much much better than I give it credit for, and I'm ashamed of myself for not really appreciating it as much as it deserves.
Then I got some strange, deep sorrow and melancholy knowing that Mariko may never release anything again, and it's really hit hard how sucky that prospect actually is.

Oh and backup, that Ryuichi Sakamoto song is great, like usual it seems whenever I hear anything by him.
Teslaguy, what are your favorite Sakamoto releases?

The album that song came from, Illustrated Musical Encyclopedia (which I bought on vinyl when it was released) is my absolute favorite. Other than that, well, I like all of his 80's and some 90's stuff. Neo Geo, Beauty and Heartbeat are excellent, Smoochy and Futurista have many good tracks, and Esperanto is terrific if you want to listen to something more experimental.
