@Hedofloe:
Variety was used more to describe an "era", rather than the album itself. But yes, there's few tracks I like from that album: "Kronekodow", "OSCA", "Killer Tune" and "Shiseikatsu" mainly. Regardless, when I mentioned RSRF I was talking about the solo show, which had "Ekimae" and "Onaji Yoru", two songs I absolutely adore. But let's put it this way. I didn't like the performances, but that doesn't mean they were bad (or good) |

Wait, what show was that? I have a video for RSR which is just with the band (they're all in kimonos) and then the Society of citizens one which I made my avatar from. Where did you see the one with Ekimae? on Youtube?

That Gamble performance is epic. The Yattsuke Shigoto instrumental is AWESOME.

That's my blog. I'm not a new user in EMF. However this is my very first post: Hello everyone! I had tried to translate some of those articles into English, but....well, I didn't do it well so I gave it up :p

Finally just got my hands on the DVD, I'm in the middle of ripping it, and I haven't watched it yet (I play everything off of a hard drive).
This packaging is seriously lightweight. I swear the PUFFY single weighs at least twice what Ringo EXPO 08 does. Also, there's no more 48kHz/24bit. We're back to good ol' 48kHz/16bit like all of the concert DVDs that were released before Zazen Ecstasy. Ringo EXPO 08 is also the only DVD that even comes close to Dynamite Out on the abusive scale for dual-layer discs. For something that has at least 2.8GB per hour for the picture quality alone, and was released even later than Zazen Ecstasy (in a season when the video compression methods are far more efficient than they used to be), I'm expecting it to look very good. Like I could upscale it to 1080p and probably trick somebody into thinking the video was natively at least 720p. Alright, I'm ready to be blown away by the picture quality and frown-EQ sonics for the next two hours.
