i actually voted for yokyou caus someone said it sounds like dad rock, and that made me cringe, otherwise i woulda voted tsugou, although i like how she sang the verses, the instrumentation has good arrangements but i could not blast all that mess and feel good about it, sounds too entrance theme ish into fictional fantasy places , or under the sea party ish

Irokoizata got my vote.
Futari-bocchi Jikan may be annoying, and the EXPO ver. of Yokyou may be better than the SG ver., and MaruSad (EXPO ver.) may not be the greatest thing ever. But Irokoizata is just soooooooooooo boring and forgettable. |

What? I thought everybody loved the jazz bullshit so what's with the hate for Irokoizata?
The only correct answer is Futaribocchi Jikan. I assume the only reason it doesn't have more votes is because it's somehow disqualified for being so horrible that it goes without saying that it's the worst.

I think futaribocchi jikan is listenable still... Track 2 and 4 are the worst I think.
Track 6, I hated at first. It sounds like it could be the theme to a show like the Wheel of Fortune. But after a while, I ended up loving it, and I love the part at 1minute 39 seconds and the following part where she sings in english. The track is worth it just for the buildup to that part! |

Jazz is such a wide category but I feel that a lot of Ringo's recent output has a "Hey guys I'm being so jazzy.Shoobee dap dap doobee dee day" flavour to them -- in my humble opinion. I feel that she's playing it too straight (No jokes about her bone structure).
It's the polar opposite, IMO. I just can't see it as anything else but Hakuchumuu Lite. It's like the Blackout Sounan thing but ten times worse. Only three listens. Ever. |

When I first heard the album, I would have said Yokyou a hundred times but that one is more of an acquired taste than anything else. I was really not happy with how different the arrangement was from EXPO (specifically the fact that Nagoshi took out the sweet riff he played) and the ultra cheesy "yeah yeah yeah"s and "wooooooo~" did not give this one any extra points from me. It's still not the showstopper that the concert version was but I've gotten to the point where I can listen to it just fine.
I'm really gonna have to go with the crowd on this one. Futaribocchi Jikan is the only correct answer. I mean, it's the obvious choice. It just got stale the more I listened to it. I would have preferred a more Superficial Gossip experimental sounding track in its place. Instead we got a throwaway song. I praised it upon my first listens but it's worn out its welcome. And does Irokoizata really have that many votes? I like that song a lot. It gives me a nice relaxing mood with a dash of nostalgia. The video was awful, I'll give you guys that, but don't blame the song! And it's nice to see that Shun has no votes (yet).

irokoizata surprises me too. the song can go both ways, I mean, in some ways it is just kind of "there," but when it pops up in the order I don't skip over it. After TT it actually is breath of fresh air, almost like the ginger to clear your musical palate, before hopping back into the final 3 tracks. it serves as a chance to catch our breath. still, I don't think it is an actual bad track. my 3 worst tracks are 1. maru chiten kara 2. futari bocchi jikan 3. mayakashii otoko I skip all three pretty much constantly. |
