So Metallica managed to "metallicized" this:
Into this:
It's sad really. The original jam had so much potential; not that All nightmare long is bad, I may just need a few more listens, but it could've been EPIC. I can see what Robert can bring to the table, both on stage and in the song writing, but man James have gotta cut down on those god damn E riffs.

That's one of my favourite metal songs ever. The riff from 2:37 is one of my favourite riffs ever.
Kasanagi, have you heard Death Magnetic as a whole? I'm really enjoying it. It isn't a classic like the first 4/5 (Black album debatable?) but it certainly holds up. Definitely a good album. All Nightmare Long is one of my favourite tracks from it too.

Zazen Boys suck. They have only about 2-4 good songs per album. I wasn't impressed by the new album's singles so I don't expect much from the rest of the album. Mukai and Shiina Ringo both started sucking around the same time. Go figure. SR should start listening to some Asobi Seksu or St. Vincent to get her creativity back.

Ladyhawke - Magic
Love how she sticks with that retro sound.

Mew - Panda
So, here's a new song for me \o/ I was stupid enough not to notice, for, erm, 3 or 4 years, that I was missing track 4 from their album A Triumph For Man. So I never heard this song before. It's actually good to listen to this "new old material", since the band has been on hiatus since 2005. It still happens with Ringo, as well, especially with Zazen Xtasy, but the list of "new old material" is almost over! |
