I've got a barometer for this issue. SR/TJ have quietly discontinued releasing anything new on vinyl LP (plus the old Gamble and Mellow have been swept under a rug in favor of digitally-recorded versions), so expect digital showers. I'm not saying correlation equals causation, but vinyls and old school recording techniques are based on a mutual cause (a philosophy, really) which seems to be entirely absent now.

Glath, are you still stoned?

You're making less and less sense with each post.

I've read that the vinyl of Variety and KSK acutally sounds better than the cd even if the source masters might be all digitally recorded.

the cd of Variety has a sonic air of sterility close to a brand new set of surgical equipment.

^ KZK doesn't sound better or worse, Variety however, sounds great. (Not the songs, just the sound).

If you have the MoRA boxset (DVD), then you've pretty much got the best possible KZK, or at least the same as the Vinyl. (Again, sound wise)

That said, nothing is cooler than Ringo vinyls (KZK especially) though :-p

Saturday Night Gossip is also one of note for sound quality.

Should we start calling him that, now?
Or would that make this community appear more weeaboo-esque than we actually are?

Please, no weeaboo here. Its already bad enough to have weeaboo friends around me. Watches anime and listens to anime music. Don't even read the news or have any interesting hobbies. Showed him 4chan one day and completely shoved it away to watch anime. Quite disappointing to see a friend that doesn't live for anything except anime.

And if his room starts to look like this:

I will kill him.

Off-topic. Sorry.

I am still waiting for a copy of the piano magazine to appear at the kinokuniya store. Ringo in lingerie...
