Is anybody familiar with School Food Punishment. Last.fm recommended them because I like Tokyo Jihen and Shiina Ringo. The lead singer says Ringo is her favorite artist. They make electro-rock music. It's pretty good. Some of it is ambient. I wish it had a little more bite.

This is also a recommendation on last.fm for me... I dunno, that song isn't convincing really... I gave up on listening to last.fm recommendations, because people seem to be pretty stupid on there. For example, my top recommendations on there at the moment is Judy and Mary and Gojira. FUCK THAT.

Lately I have been following too many recommendation into the depths of music (including that god awful new Salyu album, that sounds like Rie Fu if she had some form of speech impediment), and out of 30 or so bands I've checked out, only 2 or 3 have emerged worthwhile for me. Guess it'll be a while till I find the next Ringo or Togawa.

Tommy february6 - GIMME GIMME GIMME

The february side of her new record is quite good, while the heavenly side was quite disappointing. This track is quite possibly one of the best she's ever done.

Why is it that Swedish can make what I would usually not like/would shake off have such a great atmosphere?

It's a good song. I like the composition much more than the vocals though.
